We’ve written a fair bit about grassroots organising, community solidarity and neighbourhood resilience on this blog. We’ll be honest and admit that we’re still on a learning curve about this and probably will be until age or infirmity renders us incapable of any more political activity. One reason we’ll always be on a learning curve is that no two estates or neighbourhoods are the same and while some general principles can be applied, there are always local conditions and nuances that have to be taken into consideration.

In order that you can see how our thinking, strategy and tactics are developing when it comes to grassroots work, we’re linking to what we think are the key posts we’ve made so far this year. As ever, constructive criticism and comradely debate are always welcome…
